In lower school classes, students concentrate on individual achievement through a combination of academics and functional living skills. In addition to the standard curriculum, students receive integrated speech/music/occupational therapy. The motor skills room is utilized for our youngest students (ages 6 - 11.) All students receive speech and language services in small groups.

There are two, self-contained Primary classes, divided by age and ability. The younger class emphasizes readiness activities, gross and fine motor skills, beginning academic skills and self-help skills. The older class is more academically oriented, preparing the students for Intermediate classes.
